BBQ Cook-Off Rules
All teams that sign up and pay for entry before Saturday, October 5, 2024 will get a case of beer from Jack of Hearts.

Deadline for Entry: Entry forms and payment in full must be received by Friday, October 11, 2024, by 11:00 pm.
Cook-Off Site Set Up Times: General set up will start Thursday after 4:00 pm until 11:30 pm, all day Friday, and on Saturday at 5:00 am.
Teams: A cook-off team consists of a Chief Cook and up to four (4) assistants with a unique team name. Team names may not be offensive. The chief cook is responsible for the operation of the team space and all actions within and outside the assigned space by the members and guests.
Types of Cooking Devices Restricted: Open fires, fire holes or dig pits will not be permitted.
Fire Extinguisher Requirements: One fire extinguisher is required in each team.
Preparations: Pre-cooked and/or pre-seasoned meat and entries will not be allowed. All entries will and must be inspected by a member of the cook-off committee prior to preparing.
Cooks Meeting: There will be a Chief Cooks meeting Friday (10/11/2024) at 9:00 pm.

Friday Night Jackpot
$25 buy in each item. 100% pay-out. Garnishes are allowed.

Saturday Judging Times
- Pinto Beans - 10:00 am
- Chef's Choice - 11:00 am
- Surprise - 12:00 pm
- Chicken - 1:00 pm
- Pork Ribs - 2:00 pm
- Brisket - 3:00 pm
Judging Trays: A single sheet of aluminum foil should be supplied in each tray. All judging containers shall be clean and free of any markings. Marked containers may be disqualified at the Head Judge's discretion. Chief cooks are responsible for ensuring that containers they receive remain clean.
Turn-In Time: A turn-in window of ten (10) minutes before and five (5) minutes after the set turn-in time will be recognized.
Awards: Awards will be held after the live auction.
Housekeeping: Each team will be responsible for cleaning up within their assigned area in a timely manner.
Mobility: No golf carts, ATVs, UTVs or other motorized vehicles will be allowed. Motorized wheelchairs and mobility scooters will be allowed.
Alcohol: No outside alcohol allowed on-site. All sites will be inspected upon arrival. If alcohol is found, the team will be removed from the site. Beer will be available by the case for the teams.
Friday Night Jackpot: All items turned in at 10:00 pm. (Alcohol provided by Back 9 Bar)
